Please dont laugh at me I need a bit of help .......

I have an orgional launch day 1.50 firmware psp (fat as they call them now) I havent really used it because I was afraid to upgrade my firmware. I love the nester j nes emulator and all the nintendo games i grew up with and can fit lots of roms on my memory stick. Well as all thing do I got board of playing wipeout and hot shots golf (lol) so I upgraded to dev hook 2.71 got some new games and rocked them for a bit. Well I got greedy again and put on 3.52 m33 custom firmware and I used an auto installer to put it in now i cant figure how to run my homebrew and nester j games. I am freaking out and im afraid ive screwed up my psp. I know noob trying to hang with the big boys and im asking for help. PLEASE BE KIND and as descriptive as you can to get me back my homebrew

All you gotta do is in the 'PSP' folder on your Memory stick there is a 'GAME' folder inside. If there isn't a 'GAME150' folder inside, then make one and stick your emulators and stuff in it.

Oh, its np. Well try putting them back into the GAME folder. Then go into Recovery mode by holding down the R button when you turn your psp on. Then go to configuration and change the GAME folder kernel to 1.50.

it already had 1.50 kernel set up as the default and if you hit x it changes to 3.52 at kernel. Im so upset I should of never messed with my psp. The only other option in the setup is (run program at psp/game/recovery/eboot.pbp) and if I choose that the psp has a back screen and I have to power off

the options in configuration are
skip sony logo Enabled
Hide corrupt icons disabled
game folder for homebrew is 1.50 kernel
autorun program at psp/game/boot/eboot.pbx disabled
umd mode normal umd required
fake region disabled
hard reset on homebrew enabled

Hm so what happens when you try to play your emulator?

You can use this tutorial to get back to 1.50. But I don't think it is needed, run this update and it will bring you to 3.52 M33-4 which is much more stable and has key updates.

You need to download WinRar from here www.rarlab.com. Then you can open the file.

Just get the trial version.

I use that same firmware, 3.52-m33, and I enjoy playing all types of homebrew. You shouldn't have a problem loading homebrew on that firmware, if you do it right, that is.

Check the tutorials section...I wrote a starter/newbie tutorial a while that explains how to install homebrew and iso/cso games onto custom firmware.
