Some Query To Ponder Regarding CFW 3.90 M33-2

Does anyone have any trouble playing PSX games on CFW 3.90 M33-2?

Coz it seems that i do. My PSP is the Phat type with CFW 3.90M33-2. Whenever i play games like Dino Crisis 2 (FMV sequences will mysteriously freeze unless i skipped them), Digimon World 3 (Can't access to certain places or even exits from the saving point) and Persona 2 Eternal Punishment (whenever i activated my persona magics, the game will freeze), there seems to be problems.

i tested these games on my lil sis PSP slim (3.71M33-2) and there are no trouble with these little problems. can anyone help me and figure out what is wrong?

My personal opinion is that if you have a fatty there really is no reason to upgrade at least for now.

If your games worked fine under 3.71-m33 you may want to downgrade to that at least until you buy a UMD that requires 3.90 or better.

I have a fatty running 3.80-m33 but I do not own any of the PS1 games you are having problems with to test them out.

I own a slim now and until I have a reason I am not upgrading my firmware, but that is just me.

If I were to downgrade my psp from 3.90m33-2 to 3.71m33-2 do i need pandora batt and the magic memory stick?

any other alternatives or reasons as to why i really cant play these games properly?

I'm having the same problem as the topic creator. any ideas? I'm running 3.92 m33-2 and can't get my psx games to work. eboots and isos. thanks fellas.
