now, when i was saying we dont know who wrote the bible i mean the ones we use today, its been 2000 YEARS!! do you know how much this book has been changes, the original doesnt even exist anymore, which means we dont know what the true words in there are.

but yah god loves us, but he just punished us because we sin, not such a loving god. So after all, who is the person punishing us? its god right? so god is evil, he is the one punishing people, not the devil. He says what kinds of punishments people get, so he IS NO BETTER THAN THE DEVIL

This is the reason that me and bkf don't like you. Even if it's arguing, I'd much rather argue with dpm, civilchaos, que or many of the other intelligent people on this forum. God gave us free will. If he came down now and told everyone that he is real, then we wouldn't really have free choice. You could still decide, and someone still wouldn't follow his word, but it's based of faith. Something you obviously don't posses. You should have faith that God is real, I mean he made the world. He made the entire universe just by saying the words, I think he deserves to say what is right and wrong. So if someone thought it is right to steal everything you have, your saying that you can't be punished for that? What, do you want an anarchy(im using that term very loosely) or something? I mean your basically saying that there is no injustice, unless your physically hurting someone? I mean your hurting God when you decide to believe he isn't real. For peetes sake, Jesus came down to earth, performed miracles, and they were recorded in the red sea scrolls (which we still have fragments here today, that can be compared to the bible, proving that it hasn't been significantly changed, and if it has been changed then the basic beliefs behind it haven't been change), and you still ask for more proof? Over 500 people saw Jesus when he rose from the dead. Everything has a repercussion, you can't do whatever you feel like it and think its ok and you won't get punished. I mean you can't expect to live a life of going completely against God and still expect to be able to live beside him for eternity knowing you preached his in existence. Everyone here could've said harsh words already, but it's just not cool to try and make a mockery of something we base our lives around. Why don't you use us as an example instead of other Christians that you say force their beliefs down your throat. We haven't forced anything on you, we are just stating what we believe. I can continue to dissect your entire post into several pages if you would like me to.

If we must keep going on though, please someone dig up the old religion thread instead of continually hijackin this thread.

I also have to agree with that fact this topic is named something quite different from it's contents and I don't think that "what kind of people do you hate" is a very productive thread, I only see 'anger', which everyone knows leads to 'hate' (see the pun?) which of course leads to the dark side
Anyone else who agrees should perhaps allow this thread to finish, before we start getting fresh recruits for the sith lord, as it doesn't seem like that will happen on it's own

all the things you say where only written in the bible, NO HISTORIAN HAS EVER TOLD OF THESE THINGS. Name one that has ever talked about jesus or all these other BS included in the bible.
No seriously, out of the 20 historians who we use their words today to tell the history between 20B.C.-60B.C. none mentioned anything about jesus, if im wrong please prove me wrong.

Can you specify where in the Bible it says that? I do know that he does know our future and everything. But he will still allow you to make your own choice, he isn't going to let you off easy, he gives you the same chance as everyone else but you make the wrong one.

You have no idea when the Bible has changed, but we have had the same Bible for hundreds of years and all of its prophecies are correct and there are no fallacies in its words. The Old Testament however is not as compatible to modern times since it was in the very beginning of time.

He is a loving God but a just God, he isn't going to baby you constantly when you continually refuse to believe in him. If you expect to still get into heaven when you continually reject him then you must be some immature kid that always wants his way.

No way can you say he is no better than the devil, the devil leads you into temptation and seeks to turn you away from God and into sin.
