Best Pc Games

Well I'm getting really bored lately, and I want to know what you guys think is the BEST pc game you have EVER played.. I just might go out and buy some new ones

You can also include the free to play ones too, like the ones you can download clients etc. etc.

list ANY genre as well.

Half-Life can be picked up for cheap and is a lot of fun to play if you like first person shooters that actually put you there. It was named game of the year for 1998 I think.
Half-Life2 is ok by comparison.

World of warcraft, or Crisis.

yeah i have half-life 2, its really an awesome game!

Oh yeah..i forgot to mention how crappy my computer is hahaha! so it cant run many games..Damn intigraded video cards.

Guild Wars is fun, or a Civilization game or the Sims. But you're probably looking for something more hardcore. Half life or Halo or something would be good I guess.

Upgrade to a new motherboard such as the Nvida Nforce 700i. then get a graphics card such as GeForce 9800 GTX then you are set for probably the next year and a half worth of new games.

I could recommend some great games, but unless you tell us what your specs are on your computer... they might not be worth recommending. Let us know what your system specs are and we'll be able to come up with great games for your system.
