I don't think it's a matter of making a replacment. Oil contains alkenes and alkanes which are hydrocarbons which we then "crack" to make other things. Do you think we could make alkenes, alkenes and other hydrocarbons? I think it's about finding another thing very similar to the crude oil we find in the earth.

I seriously doubt that considering how many people are killed by cancer. You're saying they want us to die from cancer?

The US government isn't the only one working on the cure, there are thousands of scientists and doctors all around the world working on it. They all want the credit.

That is because there is no money in curing disease, but there is money in alleviating symptoms.

You don't think the person that cures cancer will be rich?

Is the person that cured small pox, polio, and measles rich?

Would you make more money from 1 shot or several over time?

They ultimately pay more for the treatment than they would for the CURE!

That really is unlikely. There are numerous cancers, each one different in where they develop, their resistance to treatment, and some are inoperable. There already are treatment methods, but there is no "one" cure. And besides, it would take a large team of skilled scientists, not one, to develop a failsafe treatment.

Yea, there are a lot of individual peoples working on the cure, but if they would work together then maybe they could have more progress.

No of course not; but, if you were hungry, would I make more money curing your hunger or feeding you constantly?

When you say cure my hunger do you mean feeding me or giving me some kinda pill?
