ctf files

What are these CTF files that I keep seeing on consolespot.net. Are they some kind of ez-install file that'll install the custom XMB icons for you?

Those are custom themes. You can install them two ways. The first is to get the flash0 files and replace yours with them. I'm old school and still use this method when I customize my PSP. And the second (and newer/ safer) way to do it is to download the CTF and put it in your "THEME" folder on the root of the memory stick for use with newer programs that allow you to easily change your theme on whim. I don't use them, so I personally forgot the names of the programs, but I'm sure others know.
