Don't downgrade, the 3.80 popsloader works on 3.90. Dark_Alex made it compatible.
This is a sig. You may think that there is something to it, but in fact it is just an ordinary sig.

i am using 3.90 M33 and i put in the POPSLOADER 3.80 and it still asked me which one to pick when i ran it for the first time, highest option was 3.72 and it made my psp crash. Or should i just pick "on flash drive" or whatever the bottom one says?

I just did the same thing. I found a video that made it super easy to use. I'm also on cfw 3.90m33 and it works great. just follow this link
