Need help running a SNES Emulator on 3.90 M33-3

Okay, this is probably a bit noobish, but I recently switched my fat PSP over to the lastest M33 release from OFW 3.80, and now have a bit a quandary. I'm not sure if I have the 1.50 add on for it, as I tried to install it off a link from a similarly themed forum as here and got an error. I've downloaded the v2 of the add on from Dark Alex's own site just in case, but I was wondering if anyone knew an emulator that runs on the 3.90 kernel, or if there's any step I'm missing on running it. As it stands I've tried from both /GAME/ and /GAME150/ folders, but both return error codes. Also, other than knowing I've installed it personally (I ran the update off a card I got from a friend, and he didn't let me know if it had it or not), is there any way to check for the add on?

Have you enabled the 1.50 Kernal in Recovery Mode?

well you need the 1.50 EBOOT to do the kernel update.
