what about that phantom game console, have u guys heard of that?

yes, ive heard about this. Apparently, it was suppose to be released long ago, and was suppose to compete with the ps2, but they keep delaying it (FOR A YEAR!). Now that 360 is out and ps3 is around the corner, this system is dead.

I really don't wanna get the xbox 360.. yea thats rite i don't want it. The only reason why I would by a game system. Would be for the games.. i mean like wow the 360 is a new system.. like wow lets buy it it sounds awesome. So what, it doesn't even have any good games yet. I mean sure i'd get a game system if theres a specific game i want on it.. but getting it just because it's new and shelling out $400 or $700? come on later on ur gonna be saying wow! look at that helluh cool game on the ps3.. but i just bought an 360! what do i do.. omg! theres the revolution.. OMG it has the new mario kart revolution! dang i new i shouldve never gotten the 360. THats how u people r gonna be later on.

i agree, if i baught a 360 i'd probably wouldnt know what game to get cuz to me, they all suck and im not a fan of halo. Plus the ps3 disc hold more than twice of what the 360 discs do and could u imagine a gta city more than 3 times the size of SA!? yea, so i dont thnk that is they make a gta for ps3 thatll itll be on 360 if its made to use up the whole blu ray disc.

360 10gigs ps3 more than 25gigs

Yes, same here man! I just think that the PlayStation 3 will be more worth it considering how the PlayStation 3 will be 32 times better than the PlayStation 2, haha, and yes, 25gig and Blu-Ray disk.

-I heard that the X-Box360 has some sort of glitch that freezes the system when you play it, is that true.(I heard it from my friends. They both had the same problem, so I figured others with the X-Box360 might have the same problem.)

also the ps3 will be backwards compatible ps1 and ps2 BUT unlike the 360 which will only use software to emualate the xbox the ps3 will software AND hardware.So i guess other ps games will run better and other xbox games on the 360.
Also the showing of it at e3 the ps3 wasnt using the GPU for graphics but it was using the 3.2ghz cell cpu and was running at 2.8ghz at e3, sure it was using nvdia graphics but not the graphics processor

actually beleive it or not microsoft made a good move there, it keeps people with the normal xboxs and some people will still want to buy the originals, AND they didnt use any xbox 1 hardware. instead they use all new technolagy and all new programming so they could expand the gaming universe fresh and without importing anything. ps3 has now some of the playstation and playstation 2 hardware which means not as much new hardware in that slick beauty. thats basically how it runs the old games. I DONT CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS I LOVE MY 360

actually no, you dont need old hardware for backwards compatibility. Its all programming....

does anyone know the release date for the ps3. im hoping it is in march a month after my birthday by that time ill have made 450$ easy

oh well, ps3 will still better have better graphics and actually there is new hardware cell processor, ddr3 ram, also the ps3 chipsets contain the ps2 and ps1 hardware unlike the ps2 that u can find the ps1 cpu inside while the ps3 has the cpus of earlier playstations in the cell cpu.
