If you dont have access to a CFW psp but have an extra fat battery use

Tutorial for Pandora's Battery w/ a switch

If you dont have a soldering iron use

[Tutorial] Install CFW Without a 2nd PSP!

If you have access to a Pandora's Battery but not a magic memory stick use(You have to do this step after one of the first 2 guides but if you already have a Pandora's Battery you can skip right to this)

TOTALNewbi-esayInstaller
Simply run that(on your computer) and follow the on screen instructions to create your "magic memory stick"

The second option is if you have or know someone who has a CFW psp then simply use

TOTALNewbi-esayInstaller

Create your "magic memory stick"(by first running the app on your comp) then run the Pandora's Battery maker on the CFW(Pandora's battery maker is on the magic mem stick incase your confused) psp with the battery you wish to turn into a Pandora's battery(you can change it back so dont worry)

When you have your magic Memory stick and Battery made watch this video.

I would just go with the newest one which would be 3.90m33.

When I did it i just bought a new battery, im not 100% sure but you might be able to reverse the effect by running the Pandora's battery creator on your psp after you get 3.71m33 on there and there is an option to make a pandora's battery into a normal one. I'm just not sure if that will work with a Hardmoded battery. If I were you I would just get a new battery then you will always have your Pandora's just incase, and besides you cant even install 3.90m33 without a regular battery more then 78% charged.

*EDIT*

Okay so I looked around the fourms a little and found that infact you can get your hardmod battery back to normal

How to convert ur hardmod bettery back 2 normal

For your particular situation what you should do Is hardmod the battery up grade all the way to 3.71m33 with the "magic stick" then proceed to format your memory stick and flow the tutorial above...
