LG Chocolate

Well I picked up an LG Chocolate because my friend got in a fight and the person punched the phone that was in his pocket and he said he would give the phone to me for free, so I took it and was wondering what was wrong with it. Well it works fine etc but I believe the screen is detached is there a way to fix it also is it possible for me to give it to say Best Buy, Radioshack etc and see if they can fix it?

Also what model of the Chocolate is this?

You will likely have to contact LG and ask them for parts. I know this is possible with Motorola but I have never dealt with LG.

I suspect Best Buy will likely be of no assistance unless you purchased a warranty or insurance for the phone through them. Also Beast Buy tends to over charge (at least with computer repair) and in the end even if they could help you would be better off buying a brand new phone once you take cost into account.
The programmers you will one day be looking to hire are the ones reading the tech news sites right now.

And they will remember...

Heck, don't even consider Best Buy or Radio Shack. Radio Shack is a good place, but they'll just look you in the face and not know what to do. Best Buy on the other hand will 90% not help you, but if they do, they will overcharge 500%.

You should open up the phone to see what all got broken, if just the screen part came off im sure you can connect it again.

Well I opened it up and saw that the display cable was ripped, so I'm not going to even try to fix it myself or give it to my Service Provider, But I did buy a new Black Berry today.
