Ok but answer my other questions so I can understand this better.
I only suggested that it might be a non-BL screen because you did not give enough info.
Like how it broke in the first place.

If it doesn't matter, then why would you even bring it up? If you truly bought a good screen that was designed for the PSP and has a back light, and you know for a fact you installed it correctly, then I'd have to say that you should do one of the following.

1. Keep testing the screen w/out the faceplate on so you can solve problems quicker.
2. Take it to a professionally licensed installation/ repairman that deals modifications (preferably PSP ones).

Also, what happened to your former account? I will assist you in any way possible to restore your account to you.

I have no clue I try to log into it and it says password or username isnt right but when i try to make a new account it says the usernmae fallen is already in use. Also I got help from this guy whos good with psp's he said to mess with the cord while the psp is on to see if its not plugged in all the way so when i did that it turned off on me now when i try to turn it on the green light flashes once. i tried doing just the ac adapter and also just the battery and also both and it didnt work. i think i just made it worse :\

A while ago all my accounts i had that i used that password for got stolen because i got keylogged...That may be my problem..

Did you accidentally shock your psp with static electricity or something when you were touching it.... Cause what it sounds like to me is your psp is totally screwed, but anyways go on http://www.acidmods.com that has some really good guides for dissaseblying your psp and all that kindof crap.

If you find a vid of someone downgrading to 1.5 with a pandora's you might be able to do it w/o a screen.

okay here is the guide I was referencing this guy has your same problem it seems to be more of a psp thing and not a screen thing so if this works your old screen should work but here it is http://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=14512.0

sneek preview

This tutorial is to repair proper power flow to the backlight
you can tell you need this done when: you turn on your psp, hear the music, and no screen, but in a certain light you can see the screen barely, and when you get the same result with multiple screens
DO THIS ONLY IF YOUR BACKLIGHT IS MESSED UP.

I know its a double post but its most likely really important the poster sees this so he can be releived untill he finds out he has to solder inside his psp..

You don't need to do the [url] box thing when posting a url, but if you want to you just forgot to add the slash in the second box:
  Code:
