I guess i would have to say yes...but not nearly as fast or as bad. And i think it would eventually even back up by itself and balance out. But due to what humans cause the planet cannot naturally balance it out because we are putting off more than it can naturally handle.

exactly, anyone who thinks global warming isn't caused by humans is out of their mind. we clearly cause it and it IS cleary not a myth.

well obviously once again you have let the media spoon feed you with false information.

Hey did you know the Sun is hotter and brighter? Hey i wonder if that has to do anything with the earth warming up, i mean like the sun produces more heat which heats up the earth! AMAZING!!

Oh yah lets not forget we were going into a Ice Age in 1950's...

Wait did you know there is going to be a carbon tax?
I mean come on people, dont you think the sun getting hotter has to do something with it?

You lose respect when you insult people, Farq. Now I don't really watch the news or anything but don't they deny Global Warming? But you really can't deny that man has done things that have made some impact. Pollution and all that I guess.

I mean i believe it makes a difference but not like they are saying. Just what what Alex Jone says and after you did that ill respect your opinion :)

Now I don't really watch the news or anything but don't they deny Global Warming? [/quote]inconvinient truth or whatever its called. BIG propaganda tool.

Fact is that no one knows and just saying that the sun is getting hotter seems like "Well ain't sh*t we can do about it anyway".

Regardless whether man caused it or not I think that all of us should excersise some consideration for the planet in which ALL of us live. If we do not care for ourselves we should do it for the sake of future generations. I would rather be remembered as the generation that tried than the generation that carelessly trashed.
The programmers you will one day be looking to hire are the ones reading the tech news sites right now.

And they will remember...

which brings up an interesting point. should we not care so much about global warming and focus on the negative health WE receive due to pollution?

Haha, well, I guess if you want to look at that aspect of things lol. It may sound silly, but I guess that theory holds about as much ground as most others.

There really is a wealth of information that seems to be rather factual regarding global warming being just a hoax though. I'm swaying more towards what most independent scientists and researchers are saying, who aren't governmentally funded, and perhaps going out on a limb by believing that global warming is really not as important as we believe it to be.

light_alistor brings up the point that we should focus on pollution being detrimental to OUR health as human beings, which I believe is the right way to tackle the pollution side of things.

farquezy brings up the theory that in order for us to accept the Carbon Tax, the media has persuaded us into believing that global warming is a much larger issue than it really is, just to capitalize on the monetary benefits of the tax. I think that many of the points in that theory are quite valid, however, I think independent investigation as to whether who would BENEFIT from that money would further solidify that theory. Without a specific target for the money to benefit directly, that theory is only conspiracy.

i didnt read all of this. i just skimmed through it. but the question was "is global warming a natural process"
the answer is yes.

we (humans) may have dont things to speed up the process, but the process is natural.

I agree. Global Warming or not, pollution does cause problems. Recently, scientists quenstioned the conditions in Bejing for the Olympics. It's so polluted there that the athletes may be effected by the smog.
And, FarQ, Advent does have a point, don't heat things up (pun unintended) by accusing people of being brainwashed

Ah yes, China is super polluted now because of their coal consumption. (or use, I guess consumption only means to eat? Or consume means to use idk.)

"Coal- It's what's for dinner", lol. Because they have the Olympics coming to them, they've been building and consuming on a massive scale to improve their image as a world power. Because of this, they've got so much pollution and oil and coal demand is higher than the atmosphere.
