The "Trees" are not to be taken literally they represent paths of action.

Imagine driving down a road as you go along there are several forks. you choose which one to take and eventually you reach an end. If you were to take those roads and stand them up or look at them on a map they might look like a tree.

or you might imagine a "family tree" though some might just have a "family trunk".

I read your question farquezy, and since you asked so nicely....I'm Christian because it just seems the most likely to me. I feel like it is true, and it is most likely more true then any others. A lot of people agree there really was a man named Jesus, and well I believe what the bible says since it also seems the most reasonable. I just feel that everything that has happened in my life, and the world around us couldn't be a random chance of events, and there has to be someone doing it, and I feel that the bible is true so yea.

I always thought that if any one religion was true there wouldn't be so many.

The fruit is a metaphor for actually knowing about sex. It is not tangible just like the tree a metaphor because the bible is a family book.

Sex may be the best fruit, but the basis of my post still stands. Nobody has made counter-claim to what the "Infidel Guy" says in his video. I want to hear points that make religion have answers for why God is the way he is as the "Infidel Guy" stated, and all I've heard so far is, "that guy is full of it because he picks small aspects and makes things up..." and so forth. In either case, he doesn't do either of those two things. He brings up valid points asking why God is the way he is, and just because he doesn't cite the scripture, doesn't mean that a Christian doestn't KNOW about wha he's talking about - hence, the name of the video, "God isn't real and you know it".

Either you guys know God isn't real because you aren't able to cite you OWN scripture to prove what the Infidel Guy says is false, or in my opinion, you aren't good Christians, and that's not an attack, that's a keen observation and also my basis for posting that video in the first place.

He used one emotion.. I forget what it was and I don't remember God having that emotion and he didn't cite a reference so I'm not sure he had that emotion. And he didn't tell the whole story of what happened, its like saying

This guy punched this other guy for no reason--

--oh wait, the other guy pounched him first so he deserved it.

He leaves simple stuff out that would make it make sense but instead he just flames Christians and is all cool about it.

Or possibly we just haven't watched the video dpm. You have no right to say "we aren't good Christians". You can't judge someone because they didn't want to waste 20 minutes of their life to watch a video and not post what they think about it. If it was something text based that I coudl read real quick then I would, but lately the only time I have been sitting down strait at my computer for 20 minutes was when I was posting news articles. I don't believe you can judge someone calling them a good or bad Christian just because they didn't reply to another one of the youtube videos. I personally don't care why God is the way he is, because there is still no point even if you knew why.

Ace, you took me out of context, and obviously, if you didn't watch it, then my comment wasn't directed at you in the first place, so it's you that's out of line. I said that if people can't come up with points to counter-claim the Infidel Guy, while saying whole-heartedly that he's wrong and not being able to cite scripture, that they are bad Christians. Either that, or they're delirious, or know that they don't have any claims and therefor aren't able to backup their faith against the words of the Infidel Guy. In which case, he's only more correct in saying that "God isn't real and you know it".

Anyways, there's only a few conclusions I can come up with.

1. If what the Infidel Guy says is sh*t, then prove it by citing your own scripture.
2. If you can't prove him wrong, but say he is wrong, you're intolerant to other beliefs.
3. If you cite scripture, you better be able to prove why that scripture is also accurate, not only that there is scripture.

If non-believers are constantly criticized by people of faith even though non-believers bring up point after point, people of faith should be subject to the same criticism. I'm so tired of Christians in my home town because they, and even the Jehovah's Witnesses, do nothing but make claim after claim without supporting them, yet immediately denounce anything that a non-believer has to say. It sounds completely like the type of jargon you'd read or hear about involving any cult or dehumanizing faction, and if you look in the mirror and don't see that side of your personality jutting back out at you, then you aren't even capable of reasoning logically, in which case it's no reason religion has such a firm grip on you. And that's to everyone, not ace, and if you haven't watched the Infidel Guy in the video I posted earlier, go back, watch it, and if anyone, even ONE person feels so inclined to have a reasonable discussion about it, or organized debate, I'm all ears. So far I haven't seen anything close to that.

O well sorry, I was under the impression you addressed everyone. Well anyways it would've been better if you had made it more clear as to who you were talking to. By rereading your post I still am under the impression that you were talking to any Christian. You said "Nobody has made counter-claim" and "Either you guys know God isn't real". From what I got from it, you made it very unclear as to who you were talking to. Maybe next time it would be better if who said something like "for those of you who have watched" instead of "you guys".
