PS3 Talk

I didn't really wanna spam up the Religious topic with video game stuff.. so in remark
Steeler12 wrote:Ya one of my friends just told me about that today, and i'm really considering trying to get it, especially since its got MGS4 :)

Yea I'm definitely going to get MGS4 right when it comes out, its gonna have a great story I hope. I played the beta online but I'd rather play CoD4 online. It feels like I'm stuck in quicksand in mgso but it does have unique items and a little twist to the gameplay.

I really want a PS3. Are there certain things about it that you like that the 360 seems to lack in? I know that sometimes 360's online can be terrible, but yet Xbox live is still amazing. The Wii's online is Attrocious. It would be kind of cool if PSP's had a Friend Network and whatnot like a PS3 and Xbox.

Well I haven't had any problems whatsoever with the PSN, but Live obviously seems better since most people prefer it. But the PS3 is fairly cheap with a built in wireless adapter and blu ray player. It's a nice addition to an entertainment center to store Movies or videos on divX format, music, or pictures. And the Internet Browser is sweet too, its fast (depending on your connection). You can hook up any keyboard to it and surf the internet on it like you would a computer. With the compatibility back on the next bundle it will be a great deal.

Hm, well I am perfectly happy with a PS3 but I hate to miss out on playing Halo or GoW. I haven't fully explored a 360 so I'm not sure of all its features.

I think it is awesome to be able to go to OVGuide.com on the internet browser and find about any movie you wanna watch, or tv show and pull it up. It's kinda like tivo, but free :D. You can pull up youtube or any other sites that play flash videos . Thats a nice advantage to having a PS3.

Some PS3 exclusives to look at would probably be:

Resistance: Fall of Man
Heavenly Sword - I heard was good
Uncharted: Drakes Fortune
Ratchet And Clank: Tools of Destruction
MGS 4
God of War 3.. sometime!

I love halo, but i never really got into GoW. And the 360 has no Web browser. God of War 3, MGS4, and the new Socom should be Amazing. The PS3 is going to have a good year. The 360 just seems to have random great games, such as Bioshock, GoW, Mass Effect, and more.

Oh yea Socom! That has got to be great. Yea, they are sort of random but they got good scores nonetheless. I think the PS3 is gonna turn out great in the next couple of years. And Man! no internet browser, thats one of the main things I use to watch movies and stuff.

I'm looking forward to Killzone 2 as well.
Then theres Resistance 2.
Warhawk is a big game to some but I don't care for it much, although I have only played for a little while. (it only has online play, no campaign :()
And there is this new WWII game to come out at some time.. I forget what it is called though but it looked good. I think it is for the 360 too.

brothers in amrs hells highway is the name

PSN is horrible, i mean i had problems with CoD4, Las Vegas 2 and 1, Warhawk, and GTA 4, as for my friends with 360's had no problems

PS3 has a much better menu that 360 and has much more features.
But i will soon be getting a 360, i think maybe when gears of war comes out

If only PS3 games were cheaper, my family only uses it to watch Blu-Ray movies now. But I'm definately trying to get MGS4 when it arrives, I don't know if I'll have $60 for it though.
This is a sig. You may think that there is something to it, but in fact it is just an ordinary sig.

Nah you can't play them on your PS3. I Wish you could put PS1 eboots on the PS3 and play them!
