Looking to play emulated games.

So, not that im planning on this but since you seem pretty much like the knowledgable type.

Based on my setup. is there any way for me to play downloaded psp games.

ive heard no because the slim isnt capable of it but then again I also heard i wouldnt be able to put a custom firmware on it so i dont know what to believe.

Yep, all you gotta do is find ISOs, and put them in the ISO folder(ms0://ISO/)

nah im cool. i appreciate the offer though. I have so many roms on my pc for snes/nes/gameboy .......now im gonna start getting ps1 classics...ff7/chrono cross ....metal gear...looks like ill have to buy a couple big memory sticks now.

Hey, i was fumbling around because the no sound thing bothered me.

I found this new version of the emu that somone picked up.

Runs fine without having to run the eLoader and has sound and the games run very smooth. Seems like they have done a very good job with this.

so i downloaded a ps1 game and installed the pops loader. where do i stick the image for the game? what folder?

the eboot/image should be in a folder with the exact same name, and then put that folder in the GAME folder.

i did that and it just says corrupted data instead of the game name

nm i fixed it

new problem..

the first time the image loaded it asked me to select which version i selected 3.71 which is what i installed. then it froze and now when i load the game it just goes to a black screen

well see, certain games run better with certain pops, but most of the time you can just use the original from flash. What game are you trying to play? also, the reason it goes to black screen is because the psp remembers which pops you select for certain games. I'm sure there was a fix for that...but until then just delete your popsloader and try to play the game with the pops from flash
