FF IX Trouble

Hey, im still kind of new to the whole psx on your psp thing, so i need some help. Whenver i play FF IX on my psp, after the playstation logo and a small intro from the guy who made the eboot, i get a black screen. I have a fat psp with 3.71 M33-4 firmware and single disc psx eboots work fine for me. Is it different with multi-disc games?

If its that ANNOYING intro with that crappy music then it aint "little"...

Make sure you're loading disc one(If you haven't made it to 2 - 4)
Try to DL a new eboot.

It has nothing to do with who created the eboot or the fact that it is a multi-disk game. I have the same issue. Most games run for me, but FFIX does not. I think you have to popload to another firmware (possibly 3.71) but I forget completely how to do that (I am in the same situation as you, with the same game) :)

To do that enable popsloader.prx in GAME, by adding it to GAME.txt in seplugins.
