I understand that it is a symbol of the "sacrifice" that was made but, lets put it in other words.

A cross is an ancient Roman torture device that from what I understand was used to dispatch lawbreakers such as thieves and murderers. This is why I believe that the cross is an improper symbol of a ministry that was supposedly intended to teach pacifism and universal love.

At the last supper Jesus stated "this is my flesh and this is my blood" symbolically referring to the bread and wine that he and the apostles had before them.

Now I know about communion and sacrificing lambs and all that but this was different. This was a person that symbolically stated eat my flesh and drink my blood. If Ozzy Ozborne said this it would be taken completely the opposite way, in fact, if anyone else said this it would be taken that way. We as a society do not condone or accept cannibalism or human sacrifice but we keep making an exception for Jesus and his gospel without questioning any of it. Those that do question receive ridicule for not blindly accepting it on faith with the status quo.

Even though I'm 18, and I'm considered and adult in the USA, i still don't find myself ready to choose weather I believe in any religion or not.
Of course sometimes I feel like i should but its not something i would like to have a say in.

Well the problem is that most religions say that if you're not a part of this religion, then you will go to hell, s0 what if someone has never heard of your religion, ex. some man in Africa lived a life ov poverty and died before he ever heard about christianity, does he go to hell, according to what they say, yes, but in reality that wouldn't be fair at all...

i think if god was real he would have really given man kind a sign. a real actual sign. no Jesus cows, or Jesus waffles.
but really something. and for those of you who've not yet played Assassins Creed, they really hang lots of thoughts of religion.
To me Im sure hell wont be all that bad then. because if you think once again, the devils got all the cool stuff. I bet hes playing PS3 or something and chillin with Hitler or something. you never really know. and if i go to hell because i couldnt tell if god was real, then god isnt god.

Don't for one second be dumb enough to think hell, if it even exists is any good at all...
