Mice's 360 vs PS3 Debating Thread

No one's said anything about the Wi-Fi adapter yet, and there aren't these sorts of cons that you would need to "defend" for the PS3...

i think someone said that. but that is a good point, the ps3 is wifi ready out of the box.

Yep, ps3 has wifi out of the box. So if you add-in the wireless adapter and two months of xbox live service, the prices balance out. But since the PS3 has free online play, that means that the PS3, in a weird way, becomes the cheaper system.

Well remember this....PS3 might have wireless.....but some cordless phones interfere with this. Get a few calls during gameplay and you may be wishing for a cord.

my whole house is wireless. ive never been kicked off from a phone call.

n0t a valid point at all, the Wi-Fi is better than the PSP and nothing interferes with that and that just doesn't make sense

The PS3 is a more solid system and has no hidden crap

The only 360 that's competition with the PS3 is the ELITE nd that's in competition with the MGS version

ELITE = $450 + $100 Wi-Fi adapter + $50 Live + $50 Battery Nyko charger (4 controllers) = $650

PS3 = $500 = $500 AND IT COMES WITH A KICK @$$ GAME, A BLU RAY PLAYER, BETTER GRAPHICS OVERALL AND FREE WIFI

At least you made a choice. I got my halo 3 edition for $400, and live for $50. Well that and games. So for me it was cheaper then the ps3. I still don't see how you people can actually play games by yourself. I can't stand playing a video game by myself, it drives me insanely bored. That's why I had to get live.

You don't have HDMI and the cost of the charger and batts will add up, and live is yearly, you don't have blu ray, and no Wifi

When you only paid 50 less in total than the PS3 in a year you would have had the money if you paid for live again, which you prolly did

Because I already stated advent that all my friends have 360s. So essentially I'd just be playing by myself. Either that or play with random people I don't know, which is the same to me. Maybe all your friends have ps3's advent, but it would still be stupid for me to get a ps3 :p

As for mice, I do have an hdmi port but I have no hdtv so wth would I get an hdmi cable? I didn't even pay for the charger and battery it came for free with the Halo 3 edition. Not to mention if I even had wifi I would rather use a wire. And I don't need bluray either. I don't even use the built in dvd player aside from video games! So as I already said once, I only paid $450 when I got it, and still have only paid $450. I paid less then a ps3 costs. I will pay $50 next year but that still doesn't change the fact that I would rather pay $500 bucks for a 360 then I would a ps3. Shoot if the 360 was $600 I would still get it.

Well you said that you don't know why people like playing by themselves - inferring that people that get PS3s like to play by themselves. I'm not trying to get you to buy a PS3, I just wondered why you thought people that get PS3s like to pay by themselves when their is clearly online play.
