Jacob was Maranda's younger brother.
So he was my girlfriend's younger brother.

He would've been my brother-in-law in 4 years.

Maranda always asked me to look out for him, and to take care of him.
So thats what I'm going to do.

Sorry to hear about your loss Roxfox. At this time you need to be close to love ones and close friends to help you get through this rough time.

(Honestly I don't see how a report to this forum about the death of a close family or friend could be considered a candidate topic to this rant thread. I think RoxFox or anyone with a similar case, should have at least the freedom to express himself in this forum--especially if he is a regular contributor or participant of this forum. Agree?

But I do see the err that RoxFox did, when he decided to invite others to rant about whatever is bugging them at the moment--which does then conflict with this existing thread. Maybe Roxfox, should have just posted his topic, and just leave it be so others could just post a few words of encouragement or sympathy. So I do understand why the Mod did what he did--no harm and no malice.)

Man! Don't get me started!! The trouble with Windows is that there was a time it was probably good and useful. But as they later become larger than life, and become commercially successful and so commonly available to every new PC that comes down the pike, it's almost impossible to really steer away from Microsoft entirely.

Other companies have come and gone trying to compete against this monster, and well, they either perish or just don't ever come to the mainstream in full. -- my point, look at how much money Apple pays for TV ads. Does Microsoft advertise thier stuff on TV? Haven't seen an ad from them for a long long time. And they really don't have to. That's how commercially successful that company is.

Unfortunately, that is the way it is with technology. It doesn't have to be good, just popular. It's a popularity contest, not what OS is the best. This system way of doing things really sucks!

Well, as soon as he realizes what a real puta that other girl is, he is gonna try to get back with you, that is when you really should tell him to go f*** himself. Cool? Oh, he will beg, hang around, talk to your friends, all that mierda, but you need to keep your feeling in check, and simply tell him, he is no longer an item you think about. LOL!
