Just using it as an example, if we used nukes then others would follow up most likely. Not a good idea.

Agreed.

I didn't realize it would be this complicated. Okay, I have another "bright" idea. They can all blow themselves to smithereens, once I have moved on to the next life--but not until then, thanks. (joke) LOL

Why would you even want to nuke them?
They did nothing to us.
Why do people think we should nuke iRaq?
They did nothing to us.
Why do people think we should nuke Afgahnistan?
They did nothing to us.
That thought is dumb. This topic is dumb.
I'm done.

Nothing dumb about the topic if people can realize how messed up The Administration is and take action to stop it.

OH sorry for misunderstanding.

I try to bring it up to as many people as possible. I know most of the people here are young, that's perfect.

Learn from the errors of you parents and grandparents generations, and for the sake of all of us, do not repeat those errors!

Crait, you ought to read a bit of history. You'll understand why things are the way they are now when you look into it.

I hope this helps: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Sta ... _relations

War is always avoidable. If Iran wants Nuclear power let them have it. Have Russia or France manage it. Problem solved.

Too bad it can't be that simple because Iran has oil.

Oil complicates things especially when a person of oil wealth is in control of dealing with a country that has oil.

Have the UN do manage the Nuclear powers. America isn't the Middle-East's parent. I hate how it keeps acting like it is.
And I'm totally aware of the relations America has with iRan.
Maybe you should see this video, Jay-Jay, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcjLEwZqcQI
It's a very, very funny skit that Mad TV did about iRaq and iRan.

All I know about Iran is that according to a congressman they have not had a nuclear program since 2003.

I figure since Israel is still intact this must be true.

Fill me in on the gaps if you don't mind. I am interested.

Iran: For Dummies

Here it is, I know too much about Iran for an American.

Basically around mid-2007 in the UN convention Iran stated that they were beginning on a "Uranium Enrichment" program. Just to fill you in Iran has a massive expanse of land in their southern deserts. Consistently CNN has been efficient in letting out small, vague news reports regarding their program just so they can ensure that the UN is taking care of it. They say random facts about Iran and always say that the UN will soon take "action" on Iran (specifically: sanctions, which won't do crap to help). They have been saying "soon" for over a year now and it has me pissed and doubtful of the power of the UN as opposed to power politics. Over this time iRan has had an immense amount of time to not only create nuclear weapons/WMDs but they have had enough time to test and prefect their weaponry. Russia had also consistently been supporting Iran under the table and there have even been reports of Russian nuclear warheads being secretly shipped to Iran. w0w.

Now I myself am not sure what to think about the conspiracy theory, BUT I may say that Russia's support of Iran's programs is making America and Israel sitting ducks in terms of nuclear/general WMD attacks
