losing wii remote when i start homebrew

Regarding the loss of connectivity with the Wii Remote...

I believe those emulators may not support the Wii Remote. Try using the other version of Snes9x ( we have two available ). For now, you will have to use either a Gamecube Controller or a Wii Classic Controller. Otherwise, you can just keep checking back to see if either of the emulators gets updated ( we will update the packgen as soon as they do ).

The issue with FCE Ultra is more than likely an issue with the Homebrew itself rather than with the Pack Generator. As soon as I get home from work I will try the app myself and get back to you.

this happened to me too. Not sure what I did but after pressing the many buttons (especially with FCEU) eventually it will work. hit every button on the damn thing and it should start up again.

Also I got the color bars as well. But after a reboot, it seemed to work. If not try hitting both shoulder buttons on the Gamecube controller (L and R) at the same time. It should get you to the main menu. If you dont have a Gamecube controller, then I dont know what to tell you. (1 and 2 maybe?).

I want to first thank everyone for putting together this great app. Now on to my question. I am experiencing the same issue with my remote no longer working when MAME starts up. Is there something else I need to do? I was getting this problem with SNES but I will try the other app and see how this goes. Thanks again.

About FCEU:
It may sound strange, but try syncing with a different remote. It seems after the remote shuts off after FCEU loads, it won't wake back up again for many seconds, but another remote will sync up much more quickly. After the first controller syncs, you can try pressing A then syncing the second as a Player 2 pad.
