Here is what I see in Obama,
Well first you have to accept the fact that the US president is a figurehead. That being said no matter who wins the election(Obama) the country will head down the same path.
Republican, Democrat, Conservative, Liberal are all terms used to divide America as a nation. Nothing in the country or the world for that matter will change unless most of us wake up and see things for what they really are.
The (global) economy should be of primary concern to everyone but so few people understand how it works it is pathetic, and little if any effort is ever made to change that.
Do you know that America exports tomatoes to Mexico? Do you know we import tomatoes from Mexico? Does this make sense? America ships chicken to China just to have it cut up and shipped back to the states. Does this make sense?
The US president chooses the Chairman of the federal reserve from a list given to him by...directors of the federal reserve.
Make sense? I mean shouldn't the president be able to choose anyone he pleases and have congress decide like with all OTHER executive offices?
Now, about Obama, he is organized and better educated than his rival. Obama speaks his mind and is intentionally misunderstood. McCain was shafted by Bush in 2000 now he is trying to throw everything at Obama and this is important, see, Hillary tried the same thing in the primaries and it did not work for her. McCain should learn from the mistakes of others, it is the military way, but graduating at the bottom of his class leads me to believe strategy is not his strong suit. Hillary sought the popular vote (choice of the people) to win the nomination. Obama knew superdelegates were the key. I call that good strategy.
Mike Huckabee should be Obama's opponent but since W has strong influence in the RNC McCain got the nomination for being a "good supporter" over the last 8 years.
McCain's comments about the economy show his lack of judgment, need I even bring up Palin? Even the most competent and intelligent republicans are appalled at McCain's VP choice. Everyone knows McCain is old, crazed and losing his mind along with the election. Michael Bloomberg would have been the serious choice for a presidential candidate that has stated time and time again that economics is not his strong suit.
So without going into much personal detail on the individual candidates, I believe Obama is the sensible choice, but on November 4th, you are free to make your own choice.
