I am so lazy that I never got around to doing a tutorial for this.
toxy2751,
I am afraid that sweat and dirt may have accumulated inside your analog stick and the only fix is to replace it or remove it from the PSP and open it up to clean it out completely from within.
If you open up your analog stick use isopropyl alcohol or mild dish soap and water with a cotton swab and wipe thoroughly. You need to be careful that you don't deform your spring when you put it back together (you will see it and know what I am talking about) if you don't you will have a tough time keeping your stick center once it is back together. (Looking for my camera now to start tut/could be a bit)
The programmers you will one day be looking to hire are the ones reading the tech news sites right now.
And they will remember...
