I'm sorry, but there are a lot of sick people in this country..
If you lived more in the south, you probably have met some of these slumbags.
It's sad, but right now, it's important to understand that either way we'll need to think about who the Vice President is going to be because there's a higher chance than ever that the president will die in office.

Stop expressing hateful and racial undertones BKF. I don't think anyone appreciates it.

McCain lost, get over it.

I think that statement proves his point. Anyway, no republican has the right to be sore about this. Especially after that Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers bull****. That was pathetic. After the 2000 election, voters could be sore. The opinion of the people was ignored, and populations, not votes, decided the election.

Tl;dr: quit complaining, and get good.
This is a sig. You may think that there is something to it, but in fact it is just an ordinary sig.

There was nothing racial about that at all. Some of my best friends are black, mexican, ect. Where do you live now Que?- California? Northern State? That would not surprise me at all.

The comment is true tho. Obama goes to California?- "Woot woot woot!!!"
Obama go to Alabama....

You see what I mean now? It wasnt a if he comes down here something bad is gonna happen. Its more of a things arent gonna be the same as if he went to other states.

I'll try. From the perspective of somebody living outside the USA, we are much more prejudiced than other modern cultures. In BKF's case, Northerners only really see the improvement of themselves, not that of the Southerners. Am I interpreting that correctly?

BKF meant that the South tends to be a little more conservative and we like our laws the way they are and don't want them to be changed. Ex: Abortion.

I think these 2 explain it. I have been called every name in the book by northern people. They have called me stupid for living down here. So yes, i can say it right back. Im proud of being a good ol' country boy and wouldnt have it any other way.

I don't think it is so much where you live but more what you say. I know what you meant with those comments and you were out of line.

Calling people "Yankee" pretty much seals the deal that you are southern. That is not a sin in itself but proudly stating that the president better not go to the "deep and dirty south" is just plain ignorant and conceals a threat in the language.

The south lost 143 years ago. When the war ended there weren't supposed to be northern states or southern states only united states, that was the point of the war. Let go of the negativity that should have died with our ancestors that actually fought and died in the civil war it is one of many things holding us back as a nation.

If you do nothing to stop the hate then you condone it if you condone it then you accept it.

To give you some background on myslef, I have always lived in the south cept when I lived out west in Texas. I grew up in Virginia and lived as close as 50 miles from North Carolina. Now I live in northern Florida.

Yea I'm a southerner too, so I know the attitude when I see it.

It's a pitty that some don't.

I live in the South. Heart of Bible Belt. People are lame and need to get over their picking and choosing what is right and wrong. Obama won and I couldn't be happier. I am actually saddened that it wasn't a larger landslide. Show's how ignorant many Americans are voting for someone like McCain/Palin. Emphasis on Palin.
