iso 249??????

i've gone through the procedure and im so close to getting this but when im installing dvdx so it can read my dvd im told to go to advanced and install iso 249 but the highest number i can get is iso51 i've downloaded IOS36-64-v1042.wad and put it in the root of the sd card opened up homebrew when i try to open it it states that its not a wii application and on the icon in homebrew it says that its a uninstaller but on my pc it says installer i've done everything and anything possible and getting burnt out.im running on 3.3 and i dont think thats the problem cuz i see people on 3.3 using it stll someone please help before i just say screw it.

Why are you going to advanced install? Who/What told you to use that install option?

videos on you tube told me to go to advance.when im installing dvdx. this is the only thing that is stopping me from reaching my goal. sorry about the periods.

You only need to use advanced if you know you need advanced. That's why it is advanced.

Do the installation again. This time, if you have a modchip, then first run patchmii and then do the patchmii dvdx install. If you don't have a modchip, then don't run matchmii, and do a normal install.

Ok i am have some what of the same issue. I did NOT go to advance but i tried the normal install and i think the error code was 2011 tiket failed. I do not have a modchip it is a normal Wii. If i do the PatchMii will that matter or shoud i just have to do with out? Thanks for the help

Ok... at this point, I would recommend backing up your gamesaves and any channels you have bought, and reformat the Wii's system memory. From there, install the twilight hack and use the patchmii installer... not cios installer.
