SoftMii - If you've had problems, what are they?

This hasn't worked for me neighter...anybody else has problems like this and resolved?
I have downloaded .28...are the codes different?

In the rar of Softwii, I go to apps and then it shows Softwii Nand Browser but when I open It and Click the Meta.xml file it says it is the Softmii Nand Dumper. Wierd huh. Consequently, On my wii Home brew channel, it shows the dumper and No Browser. I have V3.4u on my Wii. What could be wrong? Is the file just missing? If so can it be Emailed to me from another member here?

Finally got it working with .28...all you need to is enter #1.

I noticed that also. but fortunately I started with the old version and it didn't require this. Since mine was already downgraded 3.2U I skipped that step but did noticed it. I hope somebody assist on this because some of my friends will like me to do this for them and would like to have one simple step.

Well I could not find a copy of the Softwii Nand Browser. I did however come across the Fs-Browser and it worked to back up the files just fine. now I am onto getting emu's and what not. Hope this assists you.

Anybody else having problems with this...my buddy and I both have the same problem since we installed 2.1.1, when we turn off /standby the WII our drives keep on spinning. In order to stop the drive to spin we have to eject the cd.

Anybody had this and solve the issue?

ill tell you what are my problems. oh yeah, MY WII IS FULLY-BRICKED. but thanks to preloader i was able to run wad manager and install the system menu. I shall abandon homebew cuz' i regreted it

If your wii is fully bricked, I thought that meant it was a [useless] brick, not being able to do anything....?

navigate to the following directory: TITLE/00000001/00000002/ - Now press up on the dpad 3 times and then press A. - Now you need to select your original system menu app file. If you are NTSC , the file is 00000042.APP or if you are PAL, the file is 00000045.APP.

this is part of the instructions, I get to this part and .. well there is no 00000042.app file in that damn directory. WTH? there are two files in there, and pressing up 3 times in a two file directory sounds pretty pointless. so, where is the ......0042.app file at if its not in the Title/....01/000...02/ directory like this says it should be?
