80020148 error code. would appreciate someone trying to help

I have a psp-2001 white. just got a pandora battery and my memory card and all. everything worked. i have the CFW 5.00 m33-4. but everytime i put an emulator on my memory card it comes up an error. saying the game could not be started (80020148). i've went into recovery and set the umd mode to sony np9660 -no umd-. ive tried it with both the 5.XX kernal and the 1.50 kernel. ive tried to download and run something called umd dumper. i you tubed it and watched a man step by step and did exactly what he did and i clicked on the game to run and it also just as the emulators brought up the error code. i will mention when i changed the kernel it pops up a different error code. (8002014C) the 148 code is when i run the 1.50 kernel and the 14C the 5.XX. please any suggestions would be much appreciated.

its because your trying to run a homebrew app on your psp when theres no custom firmware on it. you must be running on official sony firmware right now correct?

correct me if im wrong. plz.

double check that in system settings.

if your still at that cfw then try re-installing CFW on your psp.
or you could always try a different emulator. the one you have may not be supported on the cfw you are currently using.
The original Equ1ox since 1997.

What kernel are the homebrew apps that you are playing?

Well try changing up were you put your homebrew. From the "GAME" folder and "GAME5XX" folder. Do you have a phat or slim?

my system software is 5.00 M33-4. i have a slim. its a psp-2001. i got a pandora's battery and used RainsULtraLiteMMS. it says im in cfw. i wouldnt be able to go into recovery if i wasn't i thought. i've put it in GAME ive tried GAME5XX and GAME150. ive tried multiple emulators. i downloaded 2 different emulator packs from 2 different places and it puts a big list of emulators on but they all give error code. all i really would like to do is have the nes, snes and maybe some genesis. it lets me go into vsh menu i followed some ones direction and was able to switch usb device to umd and made a copy of my game on my computer. then i put it in my iso folder and it works. but this is a game i own and can play already. but now i have it on my memory stick. so just wondering if i used the RainsULtraLiteMMS. and end up with 5.00 M33-4. for a slim. is there a release of timemachine yet? or maybe a version of 1.50 for slim. it lets me switch the kernel button to 5.XX and back to 1.50. just seeing if i actually have the 1.50 kernel or if its just saying its there and i need to get a 1.50 kernel for 5.00 M33-4 somehow.

I don't think it would matter much but download this http://rapidshare.com/files/186553068/500m33_6.zip
It is an update to M33-6.

Download the emulators that you want from this page under the 3.XX categoryhttp://psp.brewology.com/forum/ ... hp?t=12100

Place them in the GAME5XX folder and try to play them.
After you do all that and they still don't work then tell me the error code and what settings you have in the recovery mode.
