RIMM modules are what cavemen used to use to scratch into rocks. In my opinion as someone that is very technologically inclined (and taught ace a lot), I'd say you have two options.
1. Don't upgrade - deal with it.
2. Get an entirely new computer. RIMM modules are so old and if you'd upgraded to the largest capacity RIMM module that was ever made you would still be operating slower than moderately timed DRAM DDR1 400 RAM, which is still very old. Newer computers have DDR2 and the NEWEST computers have DDR3 RAM. You'll be a lot better off getting a cheap computer with some DDR2 or something and you'll notice a huge difference in performance and accessibility.
