Yes FireFox has become, what I'd say, the best web browser. Some people say that "if it came with all of the more useful plugins it'd be the best". I disagree. I like having FF and adding what I like, even making it like Google Chrome. FireFox is entirely more open and ready to use. I can't think of a time when "something didn't display correctly" in FireFox without it being my fault.

Who Says google watches you? why would they waste their time monitoring Millions of people so that they can watch you enjoy porn or something. and firefox was the 3rd slowest ive ever used. the linux pidgin thing was faster. and you addon for ff. they are all stupid. nothing helpful, themes were difficult. chrome is just..... "simplicity at its most complex"

The only thing thats good about IE is that it could run ".exe" files instead of saving... Opera does that but instead saves them to the application folder and the files do NOT get deleted on restart... which sucks...

I like windows and mac and lastly linux just cuz its free =)

woah woah woah? add-ons are stupid? I don't have to cut and paste 40 links when I'm downloading a pc game. I just click. Thats awesome. Download helper will let me download most flash vids easily. Great if your just downloading tuts from youtube. I notice no speed decrease when using firefox. I'm an AVID downloader.

Everything is becoming "user friendly". Which is a nice way of saying people are not intelligent enough to figure things out. Being "user friendly" means putting walls up and not letting people screw up their own stuff. Which is why operating systems like OSX are sooo popular because people aren't smart enough not to delete system files or avoid virus laden activity. So don't be so uppity about your simple software. Your sacrificing privacy and functionality for ease of use.

heres food for thought FF users (YOU SEARCH GOOGLE ANYWAYS, CHROME IS AN EXPANSION ON THAT)

and your press a button to save a fave website, where does that go? for me its in a tiny bar that DOESNT GET IN MY WAY LIKE ALL THE CRAPPY TOOL BARS FOR IE AND FF. how easy is it to remove the favorites? for me, i right click and then hit delete. no more fav. when you close a tab, can you re-open what was in it? now, can you also restore the previous pages you surfed in that tab? as in, you on youtube. you close that tab, but remembered that you had brew open three sites ago (brew to deviant art. devart to youtube) and you want that specific page it was open in. you can click on recently opened tabs and hit back page and its all there?

Chrome sucks.

I do see some of you are considerate to both sides. + 3 rep for you all. And this post is by my stock web browser for blackberry. Oper is by fa the best handheld browser I have seen (not many out there till I see a mobile chrome)

Hell, it might be the AWESOME-ness for mobiles, as far as windows goes, I can't really explain it, The Interface is just ugly.

Lesson 1. Fix your caps lock on/off crap. Make you look like a retarded poster. I mean this with all my heart and in all seriousness.
Lesson 2. "Chrome is smart, you are not" doesnt make much sense and shouldnt have been put in your post.
Lesson 3. You cant ask for a counter claim link proving that they do, when you yourself havent posted a claim link proving that Google does not.

I for one like Chrome as I stated before. Seems to work and I buy into this Google game they have going. So what if they know I bought new headphones yesterday? I would much rather go to one site for all my needs (Mail. Maps. Videos. Talk. Text. ect. and above all, search) instead of going to many different sites that do the same thing- half as good as Google.
