Although it works, I jailbroke my iPod touch 1st gen as well as 3 of my buddies 2nd gen with it, idk i just dont think its as much bulletproof as the dev teams programs.

ok i ran a blackrain thing but how do I know that it "worked"? I can't notice anything different. Oh and I do have MC starting my model number so we're gravy on that.

well, install a theme or something. pulll the top menu down with your finger. i think. i have little experience with it from there

you know it worked if you have cydia installed. everything that you want will come from that or sources that you will program into it to download everything.

make sure something else is able to pick up your router wirelessly so you know its something in the ipod that you need to fix/change to get it to pick up the signal.. once you get it working, i can help you jailbreak it and how to get everything on it if you'd like.

Already jailbroken. I was joking at how it wasn't working. My mac router is the biggest waste of money you can every get. Worthless. So I was commenting of how simply macs are. Its was a joke.

So you have a Mac router but not a Mac computer. You should have known problems would arrive.

We own a mac too, but we don't do anything and signal cuts out and it'll disconnect from the internet.

Shouldn't it be able to stand alone like every other router?

And I can't ever access the HDD on it with 7. Loging into it is so difficult. It simply won't let me but I can't set up user accounts! Why is it so retarded?

DPM if you check the apple website with new ipod touchs there is unstopable issue with wireless i fortunatly dont have it.
I have an ipod touch 32GB 3rd generation, which is only unfortunatly a tethered jailbreak, also to check if your ipod has been jailbroken blackra1n will finish, and a thing will come up on your ipod an app called "blackra1n"

See, thats what Sucks DPM. You gave up jailbreaking (temporarily) for a faster processor. Right now there isnt a jailbreaking (that I know of) that will allow the certain rooting of 3rd generation touches.

This would allow you to install the emulators.

App Store- Hmm honestly it doesnt offer no where near the same type of customization of the device. Just go through the free section and search around and look at the stars. May not always be accurate, but it gives you a great start.

I havent set mine up to VOIP (its a little 1st gen ) but you will need a headphone with a microphone at the very least.

Their is a jailbrake for 3G its blackra1n it works however its tethered, are explain but im sure you know.
A tethered jailbreak is when ever you restart, turn off back on etr you have to link it computer to use your ipod again, untill then its unusable brick. A untethered is when you turn it off and on with no problem.
Blackra1n works with 3G but its a tethered on 2G its untethered there is a huge difference in processing power between 2G and 3G and amonst other things. Allso there is a band(summit) lin or w/e that makes it near impossible to do an untethered hack and the untethered one may not be released untill June, http://chronic-dev.org/blog/ they had a vote on when to release the exploit for the new iphone in June, and everyone voted in favour to wait (except the kiddies who like to spam and troll about "WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO RELEASE" so unless someone else releases an exploit or they have a change of heart your gona be waiting. But if im honest a tethered jailbreak isnt that bad
