Cant Update?

Ok so my wifi wasnt working and i had 2.00 for socom and since it wasn't working i decided to downgrade and everything went fine and when my wifi started working again i wanted to update again (cause socom online rules) but i recently started using isos and now when i go to the update icon or even from my mem stick when it goes into the first screen where it asks you if you want to update there is nothing but like the original background with the wavy lines and the update icon in the right hand corner and o x at the bottom but no text will come up at all and i cant update. Ne one know what the problem is?

Reset your psp to default settings in the system menu and try the upgrade again.

doesnt socom have a update feature?

you can download a 2.0 upgrade...

Ive tried all of that and when i go to the update screen its blank but with outlines and no text.

well if you have the update, you need to make a UPDATE folder in your game folder... and then place it in there...

im not a noob when it comes to this i just dont know why the screen is blank when i try to update.

when i click it it goes into the update screen but there is no text i can see the o x button options and an update icon in the right corner but no text at all.

got the orginal ver #? are u upgrading using socom or an eboot? cuz if either aint workn try the other.

That's a strange problem...so basically your Wifi isn't working for firmware 2.00? (that's not the case though...) ...try turning off your PSP competely. Then, take out your battery. Turn off your WIfi thing (push it down). After 5-10 minutes, put the battery back in, power on, leave the Wifi OFF. Try it...

ok ill try that but wouldme using isos have anything to do with it because when i downgraded is when i first started using isos and now it doesnt update.

what kind of ISOs are you using?

Umm coded arms, madden, nba live, nfl street, lotr tacticts, nfsmw and so on. Ive tried both ways of upgradeing and none of them work.

I think im stuck with 1.5 (not such a bad thing) But im gonna go to the mph website and c if they know ne thing.

yeah, if you are stuck, there are programs to run 2.0 games on a 1.5!
