This is a religious thread can we keep the spam to a minimum?
anyways im an athiest thats my view. I don't tell people to not believe in what they believe in i just don't believe in what they believe in, trying to force your opinions on the word works both ways and is shows you have no faith in your own religion if you have to do so.
Also, they are going to start to teach athiesm in schools, how retarded is that?

Ok guys, maybe you all just wanted some temporary bans or something. Read my post just above here which outlines how posting in this thread should be conducted. I'm not happy at all to open this up and see spamming and useless off-topic garbage.

Yeah, rage on me, but if you post in this thread saying "GOD FTW!" again, you won't be too happy. "Answered the poll question... pfff"

No spam in this topic. This topic is for serious discussion. End of story. Nobody is being asked to post in this section, but I'm asking that you don't post garbage here... so don't.

Before this gets locked again I just want to put this out...

We are exiting Capricorn(the goat) and entering Aquarius(the water bearer) Image
This pattern of stars signaled the coming of the rainy season (baptism of the land?) hence the name AQUArius.

Currently the sun is beginning it's trek through the Zodiac. January is when the westerners celebrate the new year and in the east (China) it is celebrated in February.

Jesus begins his ministry shortly after being baptized by John the baptist (are we seeing a pattern yet?). We all know what it looked like so I won't post a pic of that here. However, look at this:
Image
Here we see an Egyptian carving of a figure being BAPTIZED? On the left is the god Toth and on the right is Horus son of RA. In the center is Ramases II.

Ramesses II was the third Egyptian pharaoh of the Nineteenth dynasty (1279–1213 BC). I am pretty sure that the other Pharaohs had a purification ritual with water similar to this one and it was just as symbolic as the one described in the book of Mathew between Jesus and John.

I bring this up because I want to show that the idea of ritual purification (baptism) whether you are sprinkled with water on the head or submerged in it predates Christianity by 1000 years easily.

Questions and comments are always welcome but remember, no one is forcing you to read my words or post here.

Just remember that your example of baptism is at least 1000 years newer than the one shown above.

Catholics drip water on your head to baptize and other protestant belief systems have you stand in a small pool or stream and dunk you.

1000 years ago people cooked meals over an open fire. 50 years ago it was done with electricity. Today radio waves heat up our meals.

Though times change the end result is still the same.

Okay, just because two things are similar, doesn't mean that they come from the same thing. Que, you keep trying to make this connection...

It's more than just2 things. I will show you all the similarities I know of as time goes on, you can decide what they mean to you.

Allow me to say this again,

We celebrate the birth of Jesus on December 25. December 25 lands between Sagittarius the horse, and Capricorn the goat.

A manger is an animal feed box from where animals (like goats and horses) would eat from, not a shelter for them. It is only because of a misunderstanding of the nativity that we believe a manger is a stable of sorts.

Maybe a baby could be carried in a manger however and I know what the scriptures say but think about it, have you been in a stable today? Can you bear the smell? Would you allow your son to be born there if you could help it? Would you allow a woman about to give birth to do so? A stable is perhaps the second most unsanitary place that I can imagine for the time.

The story is telling us something else I am sharing the clues I found with you, nothing more.

I'm Christian. In my opinion, man is too arrogant to even begin to understand anything about religion. We always have to have an answer for everything. Some things just don't have one.

I'm a Christian as well.

To me, the religion that makes the most sense(Besides Christianity) is Buddhism.

Reincarnation sounds reasonable.

We live in an age where information is at your fingertips.

Yes there are questions that have not been answered and the more we discover the more questions we have but I don't think there are unanswerable questions there are only answers we have not yet found.

We celebrate my birth near Halloween. Am I the devils child then? What do all the stars (which as you know are suns) say about me then Que? We know a manger is what they eat from..thats what the bible says. I dont know where you thought we thought a manger was a shelter.

They didnt have hospitals everywhere back then. It was a lot of farming. A stable was the best place they had left...especially since they couldnt stay in the inn. You said you read the scripture..you should know that.
