To be honest, COD is alright.. too many cheaters in my book.
Mag is a dumb IDEA, but I haven't played it yet. So I really can't say it's bad.

But I bought my 360 for Halo. You can't even say "It's too hyped".. Because 93% of gamers say Halo blows donkey compared to these new realistic games.

I don't play games for them to be realistic..

Also.
Ps3 has Dedicated servers from the looks of it.
Xbox user more games with Peer to Peer.

Which I'm not going to lie I hate Peer to Peer.

I might look around here and there and not post so I'm still watching over you guys

Live's servers are probably stabler but don't forget about the new PSN subscription that is coming up. It might add more revenue for better servers on the PS3. Though probably just to paying customers :(.

and so what sony doesnt put money in theeir servers? at least sony doesnt waste your money on a POS mobo, they give you another and another.

and waste your money on laggy servers full of cheaters. i pass.

i dont want to get in the console war, cuz niether of us will win. so ill say this, again. DO YOU TRUST A COMPANY THAT HAS BEEN MAKING DECENT ELECTRONICS SINCE THE EARLIEST TECH, OR DO YOU TRUST THE COMPANY FROM THE 70'S THAT CANT EVEN MAC AN OS WORK CORRECTLY?

the irony in your second statement is pretty damn big, if what your saying is true i would trust microsoft as in the technology war its superior to Sony in the pc and many other ways.
are get into the console war in more depth as ive posted more than my fair share of articles on it,
i can get the research if you want but Xbox is ontop in everything. it looses in one but wins in others by tenfold is the basic way of describing it.

to put it more blontly xbox doesn't buy more laggy servers as they are peer to peer, you host them yourself, the server accounts for your anitial internet speed, peer to peer is abit stupid but Dedicated servers in their such small numbers can be idiotic anoying and when someone hasn't got the power to boot another user our as they are dedicated and no one owns them its downright stupid.

if you want a game that actualy has a good idea about dedicated servers trying the game Alien vs predator 2, not amazing Graphics but the one thing the game has allways and now has even more is Decent damn servers.
its true Dedicated will allways own a peer 2 peer, however a peer to peer is allways easier to get into as i bet everyone will be rushing in the Dedicated to join.
now to get to the point Xbox has better connectivity in gameplay basicly because they bother to spend money on stuff, raging not finding research and just saying they spend it on "stupid laggy servers" is dumb to be frank.

Conclusion

So, which is better, XBOX 360 or PS3?

The answer is……. Neither! Look, each console has its “pros and cons”. If you primarily play online games, you will want to get an XBOX 360. If you have a nice HDTV and want to enjoy beautiful Blu-Ray movies, you will want to get a PS3. If you are an “achievement whore” you will want a 360. If you like to play import games, you will want a PS3. If you want to easily stream near-HD quality movies and TV shows, get a 360. It goes on and on. If you like Halo games, get a 360. If you are more of a Killzone kinda guy, get a PS3. If you want to spend less than $400, get a 360.
If you think the PS3 has “better graphics” get a PS3. If you think the XBOX 360
has “better graphics” then get an XBOX 360.

The fact is, the decisions that influence your purchasing decision are entirely up to you. What matters to you may not matter to the next person. But hopefully you have a clearer picture of “what matters” to you, and how the consoles compare after reading this article. If it’s exclusive titles, fine. Go with the console that has the games you like. If it’s “which multiplatform games play better on this console” the answer is… Well the 360 is a bit better, but the PS3 is improving in this regard (and buggy games do get patched).
= http://www.hardcoreware.net/playstation ... ars-later/

basicly to put it franky there are more than 1 reason for a different console however the one way my mate put it, which i think is damn right best is.

"if you want to play with friends get an xbox, they'll all be on it" which is the truth.
outof all my mates most own a 360/wii combo, little own a ps3 after they change the price and made it 'slim'

I’ll finish off with some comments that are purely subjective. It is my personal opinion that it just ‘feels’ better to play games on the Playstation 3. After reading this entire article, the PS3 has some advantages and some disadvantages, but for some reason I just like playing games on it better. It’s quiet, I don’t have to worry about it Red Ringing on me, and I actually prefer the DualShock 3 controller (when the connection is not cutting out, which seems to happen with less frequency now that I think about it). I am more of an offline gamer when it comes to consoles,
so the XBOX 360’s huge advantage of being the superior online gaming system
doesn’t apply to me. I just want a console that will do what it’s supposed to do, and do so quietly. Other people will feel just the opposite, and that is perfectly fine. I have my reasons, and you have yours. And neither of those should affect one another. That’s the whole point of writing this article in the manner that I have.

Another quote:
The Conclusion:

So there you have it ladies and gentlemen, the results of the King of Online place Xbox Live ahead of PlayStation Network, a close battle until the end, but Microsoft just clinched it with their excellent presentation, support and community spirit...

I guess you really do get what you pay for...

http://hubpages.com/hub/Xbox-Live-vs-Pl ... on-Network

basicly on many views many opon many, Xbox live comes ontop in online experience, speed and etr, i can get you 20+ more reviews just from google but now i'll actualy try to find server speeds... would be easier if i could ping myself but yea
after an hour of searching i cannot find any actual real results however. this is one thing i would like you all to note:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index ... 603AAkfR5V
It depends.

In a game like Halo 3, the game chooses a "host" player. If the host has a bad internet connection, everyone will lag.

If you have a bad internet connection and are not the host. You will lag.

In a game like Frontlines, the dedicated servers have really good connections so it is dependent on your connection.

However, if the host has more and more trouble when more and more people join the server because the host has to host more internet connections.

Basicly, if the Dedicated server itself, yes itself has a rubbish connection which was my point from the start it will be rubbish this is why i actualy like peer to peer as its more host based which can be bad but 9/10 times is actually damn good.
overall xbox and ps3 both have dedicated servers, xbox should have more support and so should Ps3 on the issues, but boiled down boiled again and then boiled furthermore xbox comes ontop, which in the end of the day is what i like.

another ps3 fail randomly.
Ps3's got bricked because of leepyear clock error.

god i love this forum

every forum is the same we always have the PS3/360 devide and it keeps these big boys on their toes pushing each console to the max, but there is still a reason why the PS3 is around twice the price of a 360 and its because there ps3 is still no where near the max this console can get.

and also paying to play online rofl i know its about the price of a game a year but crikey thats a game a year which you can play online for free

PS3
