If whoever makes the shows now can get ahold of the money, they could quite possibly make an incredible movie of the original ones. (Ya' know if they removed the children demographic.)
The people behind TMNT did a good job even though it was still targeting younger child with it's potential audience.
I'm not quite sure how a season would do if it actually had a huge chunk of cash supporting it. I'll admit, about a year ago, I saw a Power Rangers game for the DS that actually looked kinda cool. I don't own a DS, so I didn't get it but it still looked cool for the simple fact that it was about the 'best of the best.' I remember watching the old shows when they were in their 5th or so season. They would have from time to time episodes where they brought back some of the old Rangers. I think they had a special with all of the past Red Rangers because they had to do something that was probably dumb but the idea is awesome and it was fun to watch back then.
I had forgotten about the game for a while that I saw until I was roaming around the local Wal-Mart and saw that they had little collectible figures of the original Megazord, and a few of the other most popular ones. I thought this was awesome. I was actually going to buy it but, like always, I was broke and the thing wasn't poseable so I'd have no fun playing with it. I got back home and just checked out what the prices were for the original Power Rangers Zords and they are super expensive. Around Christmas, my little cousin got one and made me put it together for him and I actually had fun. Kinda reminded me of Transformers. I somewhat wish they would release an upgraded/'remastered' original Zord....
P.S.
I still think if they upgraded to an older demographic, like Transformers, then they'd make millions.
