The usb thing? You can use your PS2 memcard with it and transfer data.

Notice there's still that "make an internal PS2 memory card" thing on the non-emotion engine PS3's. That's so you can download it to your HDD and play it. You just need the free addon.

I honestly doubt that sony will make B/compatibility an update. The emotion engine is hardware is it not?

Notice that computers with PS2 emulators don't run many PS2 games? You can't honestly fake the emotion engine. Itd be hard.

Plus, how would sony make money? :D

Got the PS3 fixed and fully working (backwards compatible). Good stuff. So who is donating their games for charity?

Doesn't your job come with "perks"?

Of course, but we don't have any games I would be interested in for PS3! ha!

I'm really looking for some fighting/ racing games. Nothing like NASCAR though.

I like Burnout 3 and Burnout Revenge. Streetfighter that came out last year is pretty cool . I heard about another Streetfighter coming this year but I haven't been able to confirm that.

I don't like burnout paradise because it's not really easy to see where you are supposed to make your turns. It feels like a GTA game but you can't get out of your car. If I am racing I like to have a pretty obvious track.

But hey, that's just me.

Yes, I'd actually just purchased that the other day but haven't played it yet. I probably will here in 20 minutes or so. I enjoyed just about every other Burnout game so I'm pretty sure it'll be good fun.

Street Fighter 4 is a great game, and I have it on PC, but the one you're talking about is "Super Street Fighter 4", and yes, I think it's still TBA but that should be an exciting addition to the franchise. I'm hoping it brings more characters and feels more like Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. That's one of my favorite games on the Sega Genesis.

Not yet. A copy hasn't come back through our shop since I got the PS3 working. In due time though, I will have that game, so that's maybe ONE game I MIGHT play with you if you're a good boy ;)
