the newest member we have that really participates (more than most you senior members) is DCM, seriously


weve lost.... so many already. toxxy. theres a prime example. he was sick of some crap earlier last month and his computer sucks, but i know people who stay 5 mins and forget the site.

if we can get something hot on the GO or ps3 scene or something revolutionary, then we have life once more. the sad thing is, we dont. most of us know little to nothing (exceptions are crait and DPM that i know of, speak up if you know stuf like them) about coding ANYTHING. i can barely do HTML and visual basic. i know little more then the pandora method and the chickhen method. im not smart enough! and for that, we are dying. without the true understanding of what we do and how it happens, we cant do anything noticable.

I disagree in the nicest way possible.

We aren't "Dying"" because WE have nothing "going on" but because that the PSP scene and the PS3 scene basically have nothing going on.

If it makes anyone feel better.. neither does 360.

The scene is in a slump. Ever see PSP-Hacks before the PSP Scene took off? In any case, the scene doesn't matter. This is a gaming forum with homebrew as a sidearm. We have more than enough carryover potential to the "next round of homebrew". We've had increased traffic and I consistently hear people saying bad things about the site yet I don't know where it's coming from other than from doom-saying members.

The Brewology is a forum board with resources. It's also a resource with forum boards. My goal is to protect each of those statements while providing support to those that need it. We're fine and we'll be even better later on.

Last time I checked the 360 scene has been boomin ever since jtag and hacked dashboards popping up like rabbits O.o If it were possible to hack any recently updated consoles prior to I believe like dashboard 8855 or something like that, then the scene would be headed to where the first xbox was. With the release of ixtreme lite touch, and running unsigned XEX's, freeBOOT, emulators, and many more things. And even with the ability to write new KV's to a banned xbox that had the jtag mod prior to being banned, you can unban xboxs now, something we never did with the first xbox! I could never play burnt games online without being instantly banned on the first xbox!

But I agree with dpm's previous statement. I really don't understand why you guys talk so bad about the forum, and don't do anything about it. Instead I see people arguing like their in the special olympics, and wonder why we don't have more members? We have plenty of visitors though.

He has a bit of a point here, we just can't compete with other sites.
All this forum is now and will ever be is just a place to hang out and talk in General Chat.
