okay,
well her eis what i would do:
download AVG
and update norton
and download ad aware se.

then update all of these...

once you have completed that, i would scan it.

try to remove the virus like that... if it STILL doesn't go
i would do a system restore:

go to start
go to 'all programs'
go to 'accessories'
go to 'system tools'
and then click on 'system restore'

a window will come up.
click next and choose the earliest date you can choose
(all the dates you are able to choose are in bold)
then try that....

hope for the best, but to be honest i have dowubts about it removing this virus.

what this does (in case you dont know) is it restores your computer's settings to an earlier date (before the virus came on tou your computer)
so it is like you computer going bakc in time lol

well good luck and i hope you get rid of it!!!!!!!!!

PS: how did you get this thing?? what did you do to get it on your computer?

Looks like that did the trick psp man, I have updated AVG and Ad aware SE Personal and scan with both of them and
found about 2 backdoor trojans, I removed them, I rebooted my PC like 4 times and did not see the high risk message
of that HackTool.Rootkit from Norton, thanks :D

also, when u scan for viruses, DISABLE SYSTEM RESTORE, itll actually store the virus then after u scan re-enable it and when u do itll automatically make a restore point.
