I wouldn't get your hope up, because I haven't heard of much/any development... but, soon everybody will end up upgrading, because the new PSP games will be so good, its like you will be force to upgrade because you want to play them...

no way as long as i have homebrew im ok 2.60 FOR LIFE i will not upgrade

Well, as of right now, there is no way to possibly upgrade or downgrade from 2.6, so I'd say your stuck with it.. .hehe

Well my guess is that there will be some flaw in 3.00 because of the new features like there was in 2.00 which i got stuck with. Because they went straight for a 2.00 downgrader instead of 1.51 or 1.52 so yah patientce is a virtue.

the snes emulator i have for the eLoader is frekin slow with chrono trigger...i have no patience

Then I guess it still needs to be worked on.

The 1.50 snes games are wicked and fast! :)

There really not all that fast, I mean it would be perfect if I could run on zero frameskip but unfortunately I usually need it around four or five to get smooth game play. Though it is nice not having to boot through GTA or anything.

Yea it is. Ive been playing pokemon red at like frame skip 6 and it makes the game a whole lot faster.
