psp 3.o update?

i agree, they are trying to destroy homebrew

They've been trying to kill homebrew since they new ppl hacked 1.5 so they made 1.51 and so on i mean they make usefull aps sometimes like the browser but hackers are making big breakthroughs so wrer not at a total loss.

Yeah I just can't wait till people upgrade and then a while later, they come here and ask for a 3.0 downgrader. hehe

But this new version does look really nice & has a lot of new added features!

doesn't matter really, they are offering paint, we got that. Alarm clock, we got that. Mail, 2.00's got that(2.00 has a downgrader so that's good). Whatever they have, others will make it for the 1.50...

O there is no way im going to get rid of 1.50 there is nothing better then homebrew to me cause ive been here since the begining.

Whats with the 3.0-Gold?

Maybe there's different edition to this firmware 3.00? Who knows, it's SONY's PSP and their firmware so they can put whatever they want.

Notice how they have different fonts for the menu? It looks smaller...

man you guys should see the post compiled by psp3d admin... he's proved why these pics floating on the net are fakes and his explaination is airtight!
Also, to prove this can be done one of their gfx heavyweights has made a few fake pics of v3.0...

Whats with the 3.0-Gold?

When something goes "gold" that means it has passed the final stages of design and is ready to ship, possibly with minor changes. That would mean if this is really 3.0-Gold then 3.0 might come out soon. I was wondering though, what exactly does Sony have against homebrew for the PSP?
