Firestick remote

My remote started to work super badly. I have to press 5 times on one button before it actually reacts. Any ideas how to fix it?

I am sure you will find the answer on this website - https://www.firesticktricks.com/firestick-remote.html. I never had such a trouble, but there where different other things which I could improve thanks to this source.
