If they ever started making games worth buying I might considering buying another one so I could runthem without caring about the firmware version. For now Im happy playing 8-bit titles on my 1.5. Also It's a lot of money to spend on something I already have, I can think of a lot of gadgets I dont have that I could buy with that.
