psp be used as a phone?

don't post crap like "you're dumb" and "what a stupid question" because obviously you would be dumb if you don't know what the psp is actually capable of.anyways i was wondering if this can happen in the near future or maybe it has already been found.can it be used as a phone?you figure the psp can do a whole bunch of crap why not turn it into a phone as well?if anybody has any comments or suggestions about it feel free to leave them.i was just wondering if this was possible.

I hear they have new pds stuff for it too.

Thay have a program out right now that can call phones through a wifi connection, but for now there is no way to talk, just gotta wait for a microphone or something lol

I hear that there is a microphone coming in August but Sony changes a lot of things. I mean It could be out right now but who knows.

would the socom mic. work or would you have to wait until they make a mic. for it?

I think it would work because I use it in fireteam bravo a lot. I havn't really gotten into testing it on other things but Il see what I can do.

I too have hered of the socom mic. possibly making the psp into a cell. It cant realy be that hard if i can use my walky talky to listen in on my moms conversations.

What about skype, any chance of some sort of psp version??? Or maybe there is one and I just don't know about it...
