How long is this supposed to take? My psp has been on boot.bin for like 2 hours!

Something is probably wrong, I have never used it, but I would imagine 2 hours would be more than enough time.

Are you using the Naive Protocal? A simple listener program like netcat can really do the trick if you want this done fast, it shouldn't take like 2 hours man. I agree with Terd, 2 hours is more than enough.

hmm

I opened up command prompt, went into the dir that netcat was in. and did the command in the help file. which is nc.exe -l -p 20000 > rip.file

and yes, i edited the config.txt to go into my computer's internal address..

is it a problem if my PSP cannot run the UMD? (its a 2.6 UMD, i have a 1.5 psp.)
