Mailas dont talk out of your donkey. I almost got banned last night backing up DarK_AleX, so I have no problem taking it to you. Fanjita is a n00b developer and hacker compared to Alex. What does Fanjita have on his track record that compares to Alex's acheivements? Jack sh*t thats what. Not to mention Alex has made a LOT more progress than Fanjita has with his new Kernel development, all Fanjita has is some crappy sourcecode for a useless program.

EDIT: And the_end_is_near I would wait on it a bit. As of now we have v0.2 sourcecode, so we are already getting more fixes and a better version.

Dont ever dis the fanjita, if it werent for him i would not be able to play snes emu on my 2.6 psp, and who is this alex guy ive nvr herd of him, im interested in seeing what he has done

Dark Alex is the one who created this test if im not mistaken If I can get a hold of my friends psp and try it I will keep you guys updated on what happens, if I get the psp that is lol

lolo no but he's a dumbass and will probably think he overheated his PSP, he's not exactaly "technologically informed" I will tell him that I didn't touch it lol.

The entire fact that we can now brick a psp is a giant leap towards downgrading. Since we have the kind of access to be able to access the kernal like that means that once someone figures it out (and yes they will because we have some great people working the psp homebrew scene) we will probably have a method to downgrade within the next couple of months, as most of the developers seem to be working furiously to pump out new homebrew.

Also about the comment on Fanjita earlier, I'd just like to say that you can think he's as "n00b" as you want and dislike him, but you have to give him and Ditlew some credit for at least giving us the eLoader, without it this new exploit wouldn't be possible, since no other developers had found the GTA exploit. So all I'm trying to get past is that at least give the man some credit for bringing homebrew to us and making this exploit possible for the numerous 2.01+ users (including myself), and you can still dislike him as much as you want.

He may be your hero now, but dont be suprised if if it ends up that Dark_AleX just releases a brand new eLoader because Fanjita isnt smart enough to get Kernel Mode working. If he is, I aplogize, but compare what Alex has accomplished so far with the new exploit to what Fanjita has and you will see what I mean.

that does not even work and that would brick a ton of people's psp.

Wasnt it kinda stupid to not release an official downgrader than rather one that doesnt work and bricks your PSP (well not all PSPs)
I mean Fanjita is a serious coder no doubt about that.

Even though Im possibly one of the best in GML (game maker language) he could probably top me the next 5 minutes he reads the manual.
Seriously, without Fanjita, a lot of things wouldnt have been possible.

He released two things that didnt even work, and one thing that would brick your PSP (possibly) if used...
Fanjits always released things that worked before showing it to the crowd.

in order to make a downgrader you gotta go thru steps to get you there, right?
one of the steps is where your close, but you are missing some files, and those missing files or something brick your psp in the wrong way.
in order to get to a downgrader, you gotta start with a bricker and work your way up. i believe this will turn into a 2.5/2.6 downgrader..

You dont know DarK_AleX because you dont know sh*t about the PSP.

And to im on the comp, your right I give some credit to him but I think he has reached his limit with this Im not sure were gonna see much out of him.
