Fanjita cant be considered a haker. I vote alex I mean he made DAXzISO. Oh and now apparently 0okm has a downgrader too.

I thought Ookm only had his "modchip" until this downgrader has it's feet firmly on the ground, Fanjita

How can fanjita not be a hacker, look at the GTA eloader... if thats not hacking what is?

also i have a stupendis idea how bout the 2 work together.... puting 2 great minds together could prbly open up all firmwares

Just to clear you noobs up, Fanjita did no such thing as finding that exploit, Edison Carter did.

ok disreguarding the previous, post it would be cool if you could put those 2 guys in a room and then we would see productivity.

he might not have found the exploit (this i knew) but he made full use of it and i have not seen anyone else try to do better.

Has anyone heard any news on the new version of the test downgrader? I guess they are now on version 5 (beta) and I was wondering if anyone has heard news/reports from reliable sources, in order to know how close we are to being able to downgrade without so much worry! I know this version probably isn't news to many of you. I seem to be having a hard time finding out enough details to the situation to quench my thirst for info, as I have been wandering the internet for a while. So any news on the subject will be much appreciated!

Best of Luck to me!!! I'm going to update my psp to 2.6! Then use the v5 to downgrade it!!! Oh well if it doesn't work I always have my wonderful warranty at Best Buy!

Oh... My... GOD!!! IT WORKED!!! I HAVE NOW GONE FROM 2.01--> 2.6 --> 1.5 !!!

hmmm... sorry i still dont trust it, not untill a final ver.

It hasn't had any reports of bricking, except for the TA-082 users (but they shouldn't be using it anyway as already confirmed), but otherwise it works great! If you can't find out where to find all the files where they need to be I can PM you a link. I downgraded yesterday from 2.6 and it worked great! I can see why you want to wait, but I got tired of waiting, plus I have a warranty. ;P
