device hook questions

where can i get it? what other files do i need? where do i put it on my memory stick? how do i use it?

psp-hacks.com or pspupdates.com just put the dh folder on root of memory stick then make a ISO folder in root of memory stick then copy the two devhook% and devhook folders to PSP/GAME. now all you need is to get 2.5 flash files and put them into the dh/2.5/ folder and your set

nvr mind psphacks has em so i can play my gta umd with this? and what if dbz is a 2.6 do i need 2.6 flash update or w/e?

ok for 2.6+ you just need to change the prx files so download umdgen as for flash files 2.5 is as high as yo can go heres a link to all dumps http://www.torrentspy.com/torrent/78750 ... 50_to_2_60 ive made a post before how to change prx ill find the thread and post it here

EDIT:ok open umdgen take the folder psp_game and file umd_data.bin and drag them into umdgen. next if the game you have is 2.6 and higer you need to get get prx files from a game that worked (make_2.6_psp_games_work_using_these_prx_files_PSPBREWdotCOM.rar ). once you obtain them goto PSP_GAME/USER_DIR/MODULES(some games many have two modules folder modulesK and modules just paste the correct prxs in each folder. after that click file>save as>ISO

I suggest www.ps2nfo.com, they host illegal files like firmware dumps and are much more reliable than torrent.

If you browse around psp-hacks.com you can find a thread within their forums by ChaosZero, and he compiles Devhook with all of the required files needed. So no need to look around for the dumps when Devhook comes pre-prepared. Plus if you download the latest version of his compilation and then put the v42b files in place, everything works like a charm with very few glitches from my experience. Check it out here, enjoy!

Go here :http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/550 for umdgen, and use the same site to find a compression tool to convert the image to .CSO, so devhook can load it.

hope its not to big of a file cuz i got dial up
