Please download my NOOB KIT, it has every file you need to use devhook to emulate 2.71, and a 2.0 downgrader. Basically it has everything you need, including a custom firmware, and ISO compression/creation tools for when you get a 1.5, so I STRONGLY suggest you get it all on my download so you won't get lost in this world of what we love to call PSP homebrew.

The Kit I have has all of the files in place to use 2.71, and for downgrading I have a tutorial on the alternative method. Not much need for tutorials if your talking about Devhook either, because PSP-Hacks has automatically installed versions too.

iv done downgraded to 1.5
and i tried to download the Noobkit. when it said it was going to take HOURs to download a zip file, i passed.

Sorry about the files size. I'll put up standalone packs of the 1.5 Starter Kit and 2.0-2.6 downgrade Kit. Hope that will help you download time issue. Expect them on megaupload and rapidshare within the next hour.
Also, about the Devhook I have in there, it's the equivalent to a compilation on PSP-Hacks, as it has all of the 2.71 files in there, but I will try to put the v45 files in the standalone.

if it will take hous you must have dial up connection like me just go to ur public library most of them have good comps that u can download stuff to jumpdrives and other exteral memory things
