PSP to get or not?

Hi, I have been looking at this website (and the PSP in general) for quite some time, and it has been making me want to get a PSP. However, there are not a whole lot of commercialy available games for the PSP that I am interested in. I was wondering if the games on this site alone (plus the apps etc) would make it worthwhile to get a PSP? Thanks!

Yes but if the psp is firmware 2.7 or 2.71 then you wont be able to play it.
I suggest that you get a used PSP since it might have a low firmware.
Anyways yes you should get a PSP and this is D place to get cool apps and stuff!

just search ebay to get cheap psp's that are not factory 2.5/2.6

though theres not many commercially avaialble games that you like, there will be in the long run. But right now, the homebrew is worth it.

my mate got a psp a week back and he had to wait for em to be shiped in and he still got a 2.6 and me other mate got 1 bout a month ago and it was still 2.00 lower then what i got in december...

I thought you could use a downgrader....is there not one available for 2.7+?

You can't downgrade certain PSP's with a TA-082 motherboard, along with anything above 2.6 (not including 2.6 though). Try to find a PSP with the letter G or lower on the box if you get the opportunity. Since G is 2.01, and that is definately downgrade material.
