Firmware 2.80 Decrypted!
GmDude66 from pspupdates has managed to fully decrypt firmware 2.80. Below is a changelog of files that were added/changed. And yes, 2.80 uses the same encryption key as 2.70 did.

Well that didn’t take long at all - please note 2.80 has yet to be emulated with DevHook - this is just the first step.
Attached is a revised version of BOOSTER’s DevHook Firmware installer:
1. copy the contents of this zip archive to “ms0:/PSP/GAME”
2. extract “DATA.PSAR” from the 2.80 EBOOT update([url]http://www.psp-hacks.com/category/36[/url]) [using PBP Unpacker([url]http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/97[/url])] and copy it to the root of your memory stick (ms0:/)
3. run this app. The result: a decrypted 2.80 dump in “ms0:/dh/280″
